Anitha Dhar, MD

Dr. Anitha Dhar is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice with nearly 20 years of experience. Dr. A. Dhar is a founding member and Medical Director of Dhar Family Medicine since December 2007. She received her MD from Fort Wayne Medical School. Dr.A.Dhar has been providing primary care services to patients of all age group treating chronic conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, Women health Issues and performing minor office surgical procedures. She has been offering primary care services in Smyrna, Murfreesboro, LaVergne, Nashville and throughout middle Tennessee and has received several awards and honors. She is also a supervising physician for mid-level providers (FNPs, PAs), medical students, residents, clinics, and hospitals. Dr.A. Dhar is affiliated and has admitting privilege at local hospitals in Nashville area including TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center.

Shashi Dhar, Au.D.

Dr. Shashi Dhar is a Certified, Licensed Audiologist & Speech-Language Pathologist is bringing clinical Audiology into primary care in Middle Tennessee with a focus on early identification management of ear disorders and hearing loss in children and adults, new born hearing screening programs. Dr. Shashi Dhar has received his education from Vanderbilt and Central Michigan Universities. Dr.Shashi has over 20 years of experience with a distinctive honor of DUAL CERTIFICATION from American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) with ACE awards and a Fellow of American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). Neuro-Audiology is one of his area of interest, Dr.Shashi performs comprehensive ear and hearing examination for inner ear disorders, Auditory processing disorders, Vestibular testing, diagnosis and management of Vertigo, Tinnitus, electrophysiological tests, Audiometry, for ALL age group. Audiology is his passion and not a business!

Lacey Capps, FNP-BC

Lacey Capps, FNP-BC, is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing in Smyrna and Murfreesboro area past 12 years. She has been with Dhar Family Medicine since 2013. Mrs. Capps is married with two children and she enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, and snowboarding.
